I dont know. MB500? It says it's 500w at 4 ohms. It's about 10% as loud as my M9 at 8 ohms. Mesa rips GK from neck to nuts. |

Mesa rips GK from neck to nuts. MB 500 IS a toy,low end model for beginners and bedroom rock stars. You don't start getting into the BIG boys bracket until you hit the 700 backline series AT least. Unless it's one of the fusion heads. |

All I see are typical GK toys. Don't get me wrong, thing weighs 2 lbs & fits in my bag so it's a great back-up. But to play real bass with it? No. |

That's one of the "micro" heads,
Convenient,sure, proper power,no way.
When it comes to BASS,size matters.
Just like you can't get proper BASS from ear buds.

All amps pretty much sound the same through my Ampeg 810 cab. One less thing to worry about.

Ye olde faithful GK 800RB from 1989. If you can't make that thing sound good it ain't the amps fault. If you can't make it loud you're doing it wrong.
