I just love my L2000. I have it wired up Volume, Volume, Master Volume. I removed the preamp and switches and it sounds great. I have it strung with really dead Fender NPS strings and it's tuned BEAD. It can get anywhere from punk rock to outlaw country.
The only problem I've ever had from it is a twisted neck. which is going to cost me around 200 American dollars to get fixed. Still, that can happen to any bass and I'm guessing the hell I put it through as a teenager is probably what caused it to get twisted in the first place. (leaving it in the car a stuff)
I've had it for nearly 10 years now and I can't find a single bass that out does it. Some that sound just as good, but none that I would say sound better. Funny thing is, I didn't even pick it out. My dad bought it for me out of the blue. He said he noticed how good I was doing on my cheap starter bass and just brought it home to me one day.
I just thought I would let you guys know about this awesome bass I have. She's a keeper.

Last night I wired the neck pickup of my L2000 straight to the Jack. It's sounds really good. Super hot and bright.

I got the neck fixed on my G&L. It was long overdue. Had a twist in the neck :-(
While they were fixing it I had them put in an inlay with my initials on it. Drops the resale value, but I'm never selling anyways
