I don't know what to say about the retail value of that. What I would suggest,IS CLEAN it up really good, take a permanent black magic marker to those chips where the wood shows through, peel that factory protective film off of the cavity plate on the back and then see what that model sells for on eBay. Then ask that amount. Of course there is a good chance that once you clean it up,you just might decide to keep it.

Its a late 80s Forum IV. Its pretty beat up looking. From searching Ebay just now, most late 80s Kramers tend to float around $450 in excellent condition. That being said, if it were mine, id follow Gators suggestion and clean it up, make sure the pots arent scratchy and the electronics work, maybe throw an $18 set of Dunlop strings on her. Then id set up an account here and ask $299 or best offer. We charge no money to set up an account, and selling a bass is between you and the buyer.
Cool metal bass BTW. Pointy headstocks are great for unruly drunks.

I looked online and found some kramers similar to yours. They mostly range from $150 to $350 US dollars. I would think it would be hard for you to get more than $200 for it.

You are gonna need to remove the cover and take it FAR away from the bass and TRY to peel that off. Don't scrape it. WD40 on a rag should remove the funky 30 year old glue.
