So my Acoustic bass is 32" scale length. I'm not sure where I got 30" from. Must have pulled it out of my ass.

I agree you'd do well tp look at Bari guitar sets. Middle ground be a 70-75 low string and go up from there?? Thicker would lean more toward a "bass playing high" type tone. Thinner more towards "guitar playing low" tone.
Your acoustic is typical short-scale bass. Look at the thinnest guages, or one of these places you can piece together a custom set of whatever. Bari guitar strings won't reach.
