A few weeks ago, I got bored with a lot of the music on the mp3 player I use at work, and deleted a bunch of stuff off of it. I refilled it by going through some of the old rock records I used to like as a kid, amongst them The Pixies. I had forgotten just how good that band really was. Especially Joey Santiago! What an original, creative guitarist!
Last night I watched the Pixies documentary LoudQUIETloud, a fantastic film about a fantastic band. Instead of offering a history, it chronicles their 2004 reunion tour.
Today I'm listening to their entire discography (in true 2016 fashion, on shuffle) and really, really enjoying it.
Anyone else here rediscovering an old favorite lately?

Queen, News Of The World. Because my daughter likes We Are The Champions lol.
A few deep cuts worth mentioning from the album are All Dead, Fly Away, Sheer Heart Attack.
