Can't find very many options for Acoustic strings. Is there another string type that is considered the next best thing. I'm basically looking for the loudest string material I can get other than Bronze.

Thomastik has a few options including a soft synthetic nylon core. Brvtally expensive.

Acoustic bass guitar?
Just whack any 'ol string on there. Bright steels will sound a touch louder, but thinner, some flats would allow you to dig in much harder for volume, though you don't want real heavy ones like SH Rotos or real light ones like TI's.
I put tapewounds on mine, because I like the sound.

They were pretty good, until the tape started shredding. That was some irritating shit.

I just put a 3 year old set of fender flats on my acoustic bass as the A and G strings and left the old bronze strings on E and D. I can't hear a difference in volume and the tone change is barely noticeable. I'm shocked.

Not much I hardly notice to be honest, but it's never going to be that loud anyway, really.

They're the stings that came on it 2 years ago and they where old when I bought it.

I might go with the stainless steel strings. I feel like I would either hate it or love it.
